A month of 15+ hour days has begun in the Northeast!
I want to get outside for as many workouts as possible and early AM is a great time. It's still cool, nothing is crowded, and there's plenty of sunlight.
The early and late sunlight and warm weather also make it a great time to switch up workouts.
Our minds and bodies love it when we move in new ways and in new environments, and we get the opportunity to get out, explore, and try new things.
My biggest switch is doing less rowing indoors and more swimming outdoors for most of the Summer.
If you have or can get access to a pool, I can't recommend this enough.
You don't have to be good.
I am slow and do a grandpa breaststroke thing for 30-40 minutes a couple times/week.
I get out of the pool afterwards and my whole body feels limber and jacked at the same time.
It's a post workout buzz unlike anything else...
