Have you looked into anything that can be consumed that might technically look like breaking your fast but keeps you in autophagy? For example, I’ve seen some claims that butter/coconut oil don’t disrupt autophagy (so bulletproof coffee could be an option). Also things like keto-friendly collagen protein or fiber.
I ask because my typical breakfast has long been 1 cup of coffee with butter and a keto-friendly fiber powder, followed by 1 cup decaf coffee with MCT oil and keto-friendly collagen peptides for protein and have been wondering if just limiting the rest of my eating to 12-8 would be a useful way to start with IF.
Also, I toss some cinnamon and salt in the coffee for taste, I’m unsure if that’s something I’d need to stop.
I haven’t added milk or a sweetener to coffee at home for years, so I’m good on that front. I guess cinnamon might technically be a sweetener? I have it in my mind that cinnamon is beneficial but don’t remember why so maybe I need to look back into that.
I also have heard conflicting things. From keto friends who test themselves, it seems clear neither of these throws them out of ketosis, but I don’t know if that maps to keeping the benefits of IF.
I may try it for a month and see what the results are, at the very least it should help with the habit of meal planning around a 12-8 schedule.

I don't know for sure and hear conflicting things. My take is to go pure. I stopped putting milk and splenda in my coffee and now go black only.

Please let me know what you find.
Will do!
