Savor every bite is my holiday and life motto. The more mindfulness we bring to holiday eating the more pleasurable an experience it is and less need to over eat and then feel bad about ourselves.

Hey Brother. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful fams. Please give everyone my love.

This is a good one that I’m stealing. Savor the bite. Savor the meal. Savor the company. Savor the day.

Great tips! I like "the Right Foot Rule" as well!

Something else we might take into consideration: there is only so much weight you can gain in a single day, and to lose that is not that difficult either. So: weigh yourself the morning of the binge day, and again the morning after. Big shock! Then lose it all in a matter of 3-4 days by going back to your normal regime.

Thanks! I like this one a lot and have used it. My only caveat here would be to say that this one is a bit more advanced and dependent on the ability to course correct or “get back on the horse” after falling off.

For those just getting started on a health journey and/or who have a high food addiction component, maybe be a little more careful with this.

That said. What’s done is done, so if you did indulge too much, this would be a strong strategy!

Have a great holiday Mark!

True! One day of cheating can easily leed to another day of cheating...

No holiday in my part of the world, so I'm safe :)

Have fun!
