Bravo! Way too many folks overthink all of this and flood the internet with pointless over-analysis.

I likewise just eat lots of veggies, salads, no junkfood (and yeah, we all know what "junkfood" is, this is another thing that gets over-analyzed), no alcohol. No "off days" - this is your life now, not something you pick up and put down.

I run minimum 12 miles a day, most days 14. I also do basic strength training but nothing crazy. But I exercise every day, no exceptions.

I don't overthink equipment, stats, data, or anything else. I wear a smartwatch but I could go without it.

I went from 181 to 148 pounds at 53 years old.

Smiles Brother Phil, looking good sir! I feel ya and the advice is truly excellent. I myself eat generally in the afternoon as well. The nice thing I have found since changing my eating habits and structure is that I am never full, but always satisfied and tastes so much better. also now, I like certain vegetables that never appealed to me. much love from PRX2
